👋 Hello Readers,

In the process of learning to write, I stumbled upon the Zettelkasten method and accidentally wrote a short book about it. Proving that writing is the natural consequence of taking “smart notes”. 😂

Slightly overwhelmed by the amount of conflicting information available on the Zettelkasten method I decided to re-read the book “How to Take Smart Notes” by Sönke Ahrens and implement the physical version of the slip-box.

Using the physical version of the slip-box deepened my understanding of the method by keeping me focused on the principles without the distractions of different tools, plugins, and other superficial features.

It’s that clarity on the principles that I’ve attempted to translate into “How to Take Smart Notes in Obsidian”.

For enduring my endless babbling on the topic, you will forever get a discount1. 😉

Until next time,

Josh Duffney

"It feels productive to ingest information and unproductive to spend time

digesting it. But a body that doesn't digest is malnourished and a mind that

doesn't process its input is starved"

Absolutely loved this phrase from the book!I
